Appointed board members hold 4-year terms.

The Board meets 4 times yearly (March, July, Sept. and Dec.) on the second Wednesday of the month (1PM).

Pursuant to Conn. Gen. Stat. § 7-273c, the Mayor appoints four (4) members representing the City, no more than three of the same party, who must be electors of the City.  Other members are appointed by other municipalities, in numbers determined by each municipality’s population.  Terms are four years.  Terms are staggered such that two of the four directors appointed by the Mayor expire every two years.  Appointed board members hold 4-year terms.
