Non-essential City employees should not report to work on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013.

All Waterbury Public Schools are closed tomorrow, Monday, as are the Judicial branch courthouses, and DMV offices.

Refuse collection is suspended until further notice. We'll decide on Tuesday's collection tomorrow.

Metro-North service on the New Haven line between Stamford and New Haven remains suspended.

Main roads are passable, however, crews are still working on clearing the secondary streets. Residents should not push or throw snow from their cars or properties into the street, as this will only prolong the process. All available light and heavy equipment is being used.  We'd like to remind you of the following: call 911 for emergencies only; report all non-emergency storm related issues to the Emergency Operations center, 203-597-3450.
