Overnight Milling Scheduled for South Main Street

The City of Waterbury announces that milling of the existing pavement on South Main Street is scheduled for Friday, October 23, from 7:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24.

The work will take place along South Main Street, from Scovill Street to just beyond East Main Street. Motorists should anticipate possible traffic delays and use caution when traveling through the work area.

Uniformed police officers and a flagger will be on site to assist with traffic control. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained throughout the milling operation.

The schedule is subject to change based on weather and field conditions. Motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly and allow extra time when traveling through the area.
