Press Conference on Thomaston Avenue Water Main Repairs

WHAT:           Press conference to provide an update on overnight water main work, current system status, and the next phase of repairs.

Waterbury, CT

DETAILS:      Overnight crews successfully installed line stop valves at approximately 1:30 AM, allowing permanent pipe replacement and roadway repairs to move forward. A limited number of residents experienced some low-pressure issues overnight, which have since been resolved. There is no boil water advisory in effect.

Weather permitting, work to replace damaged pipes and restore the roadway is expected to take approximately 10 additional days.
