Water Distribution Sites Now Back Open

(Waterbury, CT) With the assistance of state and local police escorts, delivery trucks arrived this afternoon, allowing the city’s drinking water distribution sites to resume operations.

The drinking water distribution sites at Municipal Stadium, 1200 Watertown Avenue, and Crosby High School, 300 Pierpont Road, are now open and actively distributing bottled water to residents. Both locations will remain open this evening until all available supplies are depleted.

The city extends its sincere thanks to the Connecticut State Police and Waterbury Police Department for providing police escorts that expedited deliveries and helped ensure water reached residents as quickly as possible.
