Mayor Pernerewski Provides Drinking Water Distribution Update

(Waterbury, CT) Mayor Paul K. Pernerewski, Jr. provided an update on the city of Waterbury s ongoing drinking water distribution efforts.

The drinking water distribution sites at Municipal Stadium, 1200 Watertown Avenue, and Crosby High School, 300 Pierpont Road, are temporarily closed today as delivery trucks carrying additional bottled water are delayed. Distribution will resume as soon as the trucks arrive, the water is offloaded, and supplies are brought to the distribution sites.

To accommodate for the delay, both locations will remain open later this evening to ensure residents have access to drinking water.

The City will continue to provide updates as additional water shipments arrive and distribution operations continue. An updated press release will be issued as soon as the sites are back up and running.
