Senior Shuttle Program

NOTICE

NEW VENDOR

Beginning Monday, October 2, 2023, Ambassador Wheelchair Services will be the new provider for the Waterbury Senior Shuttle Program.  

Please note that there will be no changes or disruption to the Senior Shuttle Program:

• Transportation services are free for Waterbury Seniors
• Book medical appointments up to 30-days in advance
• Reserve rides between the hours of 9 am and 12 pm daily
• NEW! 3-Day advance window to book non-medical rides

For non-medical and medical rides through September 30th, please continue to call the current number to book rides with Curtin Livery (our current vendor).

For medical rides needed after September 30th, please call Ambassador at (860) 257-0885 beginning Thursday, September 21, 2023.

Beginning October 1st (For ALL rides), please call Ambassador at (860) 257-0885.

Residents with questions about the Senior Shuttle Program and eligible participants should contact the Office of Community Development at 203-346-3810 ext. 7274.
