The City of Waterbury is proceeding with the 130 Freight Street demolition project in coordination with the State of CT DECD, thanks to their $1.5M Urban Act Grant commitment. The City is applying for additional funds from the state for subsequent testing for underground pollution and cleanup. Here are some pictures from the demolition project.
