Notice of Scheduled Work

 On Friday May 15, 2020, north of the Waterbury Green at the intersection of West Main Street and North Main Street, the water will be shut down in the area while repairs are made on the water main. Dayton Construction Company Inc. will be performing the work, beginning 7:00 am Friday May 15, 2020 continuing through the day and night into Saturday afternoon, with the potential to extend into midday Sunday May 17, 2020. The work includes: a line stop, 30-inch piping replacement and a new water valve. The attached map illustrates in blue the area of the water main that will be shut down through Sunday. The red illustrates the buildings that will be without water during the shutdown. On Monday, in the same area, a new fire hydrant will be installed. Traffic will shut down on West Main Street between Prospect Street and North Main Street. There will be police on site directing traffic. Should the work need to be rescheduled another notice will be issued.
