Waterbury Public Schools extends its gratitude to its dedicated Food Service Department, which has been collaborating on a plan for several days. We would also like to thank the State Department of Education, namely Commissioner Miguel Cardona and Chief Operating Officer Charlene Russell-Tucker for their leadership and guidance in securing the necessary approval through the United States Department of Agriculture We are also grateful to Mayor Neil M. O’Leary for his continued support of our students and staff during this unprecedented closure.
