9/26/2016 - Waterbury's 2016 street milling & paving program begins, will last 4 weeks weather-permitting; see streets to be paved here

The 2016 milling and paving program began Monday Sept. 26. Work will begin in the Cooke Street area including Greenwood Avenue, Melbourne Terrace, White Street, Bonair Avenue and Lone Oak Avenue. Crews will begin installing ADA pedestrian ramps at required intersections followed by the milling and paving crews.

All affected streets will be posted with “No Parking” signs in advance of the work. Residents must adhere to the No Parking requirement in order to avoid the towing of vehicles. Motorists are urged to exercise caution in these work areas, due to equipment and workers in the work zones.

The paving program will continue for approximately four weeks, weather permitting, and the sequence of streets is below:
