Opioid Forum this Wednesday Sept. 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. at John F. Kennedy High School, 422 Highland Avenue, Waterbury

The U.S. Attorney's Office in conjunction with the FBI, the DEA and the City of Waterbury is sponsoring a Heroin and Opioid Awareness Conference for Parents and Educators this Wednesday evening Sept. 21 at Kennedy High.

The topics of discussion will include law enforcement experts on drug recognition, medical and mental health experts on addiction, and families of overdose victims talking about their experiences.
