3/2/2016 - Library to celebrate Dr. Seuss and National Read Across America Day on March 2

The Silas Bronson Library Children’s Services will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday and National Read Across America Day on Wednesday, March 2. The Children’s Room librarians will read their favorite Seuss stories at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m., followed by a Seuss-themed craft activity. Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Seuss character.

The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Silas Bronson Library. Admission is free; no registration required.

The Silas Bronson Library is the public library of the City of Waterbury. Located at 267 Grand Street, the Library is open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturdays from Labor Day to Memorial Day, 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. For more information, please CLICK HERE
