Happy Birthday, Waterbury Hospital! 

Waterbury Hospital is turning 125 and its parent company, the Greater Waterbury Health Network, will celebrate the milestone on Thursday Aug. 27 with a Community Picnic at the Hospital, 68 Robbins Street, Waterbury, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Because parking is limited, people are asked to drive to Municipal Stadium, 1200 Watertown Avenue, where shuttle buses will depart and return every 15 minutes through 2:30 p.m..

The public is invited to this event, where free hot dogs, hamburgers, salad and lemonade will be served. It will also feature a DJ and free health screenings.
