EMPLOYMENT SESSION JUNE 16 FOR THOSE 55 AND OLDER SEEKING WORK

WATERBURY, Conn. – The Connecticut Department of Labor and the Associates for Training and Development are sponsoring an informational session for people age 55 and older who are unemployed and looking for work.

 


The session will be held Tuesday June 16 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Waterbury American Job Center, 249 Thomaston Avenue, Waterbury. Interested people should arrive on time.

Associates for Training and Development administers the Senior Community Service Employment Program, which helps mature people get back into the workforce by providing paid occupational skills and workplace experience training.

Interested people should show up at the Job Center, 249 Thomaston Avenue, by 10 a.m. sharp on June 16. Bring copies of your resume and be prepared to fill out an application. Do not bring children.
