The state has set up a website – i-84waterbury.com – to track and monitor the five-year project to widen Interstate 84 through Waterbury. The project is set to get underway this spring and continue through 2019 into 2020. At an information meeting March 24 at Crosby High School, state transportation officials said traffic delays – especially during the first weeks of the project – would be inevitable. Residents may visit the project website and sign up for email notifications and project updates.
