U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) President Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson last week made his Standing Committee, Task Force and Council appointments.  Mayor Neil M. O’Leary was reappointed to Vice Chair of USCM Advanced Manufacturing Task Force.

Since assuming office in 2011, Mayor O’Leary has attended every Conference.  In 2013, at the 81st Annual Conference of Mayors, Mayor O’Leary was one of three panelists who spoke on the best practices in advanced manufacturing.  He addressed the Plenary Session that was attended by over 700 fellow mayors and business leaders from around the country.  Mayor O’Leary’s address to the session outlined the work currently underway in Waterbury and the State of Connecticut.
