5/29/2014 - Bureau of Recreation Summer Program

 

The City of Waterbury Bureau of Recreation is holding registration for their summer programs.  These programs are for Waterbury residents only.

The all-day summer program begins June 30th and ends August 8th, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  Breakfast and lunch provided.  The cost of this program is $190.  Please call North End Recreation at 203-574-8294; Washington Park/William Tracey Park House at 203-574-8297; or Waterville Recreation Center at 203-574-8292 for more information.

Swim lessons, sponsored by Waterbury PAL, began registration for free swim lessons. Children must be 5 years of age or older.  Registration will be held at Chase Park House on Sunnyside Avenue Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Call 203-574-8292 for more information.

Lakewood Beach opened on May 24th.  It is open from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., weekends only. On June 28th it will officially open for the summer, 7 days a week, until August 10th.  After August 10th, Lakewood Beach will be open on weekends only until Labor Day.

Outdoor pools at Fulton, Hamilton, and Washington will be open beginning June 28th until August 10th, 7 days a week, from 11 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
