WATERBURY, CT (May 5, 2014) -- Mayor Neil M. O'Leary today issued the following statement regarding the 2014-2015 State Budget agreement:

“I congratulate Governor Malloy’s administration on reaching a balanced budget agreement that will maintain strong support for Connecticut's cities.  The health of our cities is linked to the health of our state, and Connecticut has come a long way in making the tough financial decisions that will position the state for economic growth, while providing assistance for Connecticut's major urban areas and maintaining essential services on which all of us rely on a daily basis.”
