The City of Waterbury, Waterbury Development Corporation, and The State of Connecticut Department of Transportation cordially invite the public to attend and comment on the proposed construction of a new at grade railroad crossing at the Waterbury Industrial Commons Project site.

The project represents the reconstruction / extension of the City street known as Commons Court along the eastern property boundary of the Waterbury Industrial Commons Property.  At the northern end of Commons Court, a new signalized T- Intersection will be installed prior to the new railroad crossing.  The new crossing will be located across from 2100 Thomaston Avenue.  Said crossing will replace the existing southern crossing of Commons Court at Thomaston Avenue. 

Improvements will be made to Thomaston Avenue including a signalized intersection with turning lanes, bike & bus lanes, and sidewalks for improved site access and safety.
