Risk Management is a part of the City’s Finance Dept.
The City’s Risk Manager will participate in the City’s Procurement process, help facilitate safety committees within the City, interface with vendors providing ancillary services and assist with obtaining Property & Casualty Insurance.
The City of Waterbury has partnered with PMA Companies, a third party administrator (TPA) to administer its workers' compensation services providing both claims administration and medical care management.
Effective September 15, 2016, the City of Waterbury implemented a customized workers' compensation medical care plan. (Click the link below for details)
