Michael Murphy.  A Navy SEAL, Murphy earned our nations highest award, the Congressional Medal of Honor, for his bravery in a firefight in Afghanistan, where he was killed trying to save his fellow men.   Jon-Paul Oldham, a Waterbury firefighter, was invited to the commissioning of the USS Michael Murphy in New York City last year. "Our culture and children need positive role models, and Murphy exemplifies honor, courage, and patriotism," Oldham said.
