WATERBURY – City of Waterbury Delinquent Tax Manager Richard Kane is reminding individuals who wish to participate in the Thursday, March 22, 2012 Property Tax Auction to register to bid by 5:30 p.m.  Auction begins at 6:00 p.m. and will take place at Waterbury City Hall, Veteran’s Hall – 2nd floor, 235 Grand Street, Waterbury, CT 06702.

“We currently have 32 improved properties and 32 unimproved parcels being offered,” stated Kane.  The properties can be found on the city website (www.waterburyct.org) under ‘Tax Collector Tax Auctions’.  Properties can be sorted by sale date.”
A $3,000 deposit in the form of cash or cashier’s check is required at the time of registration for each property being bid on.  Minimum bids on some properties are less than the amounts due in taxes, fees and other costs.
