Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with

Willie Nininger at TGI Third Thursday

March 17, 5:30-7:30pm

Willie Nininger 

Willie "O'Nininger" will perform folk and popular Irish music including sentimental, rabble-rousing favorites.

 

Willie is well known for his extensive repertoire, spontaneous sense of humor and flat-picking guitar technique. His performances range from country, folk and rock 'n roll standards to theme shows including Irish, tropical, cowboy and international, as well as his own songs. Whether playing solo or with his band, Willie has a unique capability of adapting to, and interacting with, his audience.   

 

Members: $7

Non-members: $15

Suburban Dreams Bus Tour with Architectutal Historian Rachel Carley

Sunday, April 3

Please join us for a leisurely afternoon bus trip guided by Rachel Carley, curator of the Mattatuck Museum's current exhibit, "Suburban Dreams: Middlebury in the Twentieth Century."

 

Ms. Carley will lead a tour through

a number of Middlebury's most attractive suburban neighborhoods, including Hillcrest, Westview Heights, Stevens Road and the cottage colony of Tylers Cove. Our tour ends at the Middlebury Historical

Society with refreshments.

 

The bus will depart promptly from the front entrance of the Mattatuck Museum at 12:30pm and will return to the Mattatuck at 4:00 pm. Participants are encouraged to visit the exhibit before the bus trip.

 

Registration required.

Members: $10

Non-members: $20

All Local Jazz First Thursday Presents:

The Gomez & Sadlon Jazz Duo

April 3, 5:30-7:30pm 

 

Gomez_Sadlon

The Gomez & Sadlon Jazz Duo performs a wide range of music that features a repertoire of popular jazz, pop, rock and even some country musical selections from the American Songbook. Guitarist, Thom Gomez started performing in rock and show bands at an early age. Saxophonist/flutist Rick Sadlon graduated from the music school at University of North Texas and won several outstanding jazz soloist awards. Rick is currently the Director of Music for the Darien public schools.

Non-members: $15
