NOTICE OF MEETING

 

BOARD OF ASSESSMENT APPEALS

 

 

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Assessment Appeals of the City of Waterbury, will meet for the transaction of such business as shall be legally brought before it.     

 

The purpose of the meeting is to hear appeals on Real Estate and Personal Property Assessments from the 2010 Grand List, and for Motor Vehicles on the 2009 Grand List supplement.

 

 

All appeals must be made in writing in accordance with CGS 12-111.

 

 

  • As prescribed by state law, application forms for Real Estate and Personal Property Assessments will be available online at www.waterburyct.org or in the Assessor’s office February 1st – February 20th, 2011.

 

  • The Real Estate and Personal Property Assessments Hearings are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, March 1st, 2011 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and will be held in the Assessor’s Office, City Hall Building, Courtyard Level, 235 Grand Street, Waterbury, CT. 06702.

 

 

  • We will be meeting September 12, 2011 to hear appeals on your 2010 Grand List Motor Vehicles.  Applications for these appeals will be available in August of this year at the location listed above.
