Construction on E. Main Street Bridge to Begin Aug 9th
The Public Works Department of the City of Waterbury announces the construction schedule for the rehabilitation of the East Main St bridge over the Mad River at Harper’s Ferry Rd..
NJR Construction, of Harwington, CT, is scheduled begin work on the bridge rehabilitation on August 9, 2010. Construction is expected to continue through the end of October.
Traffic detour and lane signage will be posted in the area of the work. Motorists should expect to experience delays as the number of west bound lanes will be reduced from two (2) to one (1). The east bound lanes will be reduced in width, but remain at two.
