Top musicians from around the world teach at the Litchfield Jazz Camp each year.  The best of the best formed an all-star band Jazz'd 4 Life
and these s
even extraordinary jazz talents will perform at the April TDBank Jazz Series First Thursday. 
 
Nichole Zuraitus, a Waterbury native, comes direct from the Litchfield Jazz Festival's prestigious Mainstage, wowing audiences with her melodious voice.  Powerfully intense Albert Rivera is so incredible on tenor sax that he was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall at age 12.  Grammy Award-winning Rachel Z is one of the most exciting female jazz musicians of the 21st century and a true pioneer of modern jazz.  Lauren Sevian, a rising star in the New York jazz scene, is known for her original compositions and her exhilarating ability to showcase the baritone sax's full range.  Seattle-born Nick Rosoboro moved to New York City to attend New School University and has become one of jazz's most exciting young trumpeters.  Drummer Rodney Holmes, known for his eclectic style, has toured extensively with Santana and is a multi Grammy Award winner.  Maeve Royce, at a mere 25 years old, plays with an unmatched intensity, a deep sense of groove and a rich tone that sets her apart from the crowd.

  All-jazz First Thursdays are hosted in collaboration with the Litchfield Jazz Festival, featuring outstanding musicians from the local area, the Litchfield Jazz Camp,
 and across the nation. 
 
The TDBank Jazz Series is made possible through the generous support of
TDBank.  
First Thursday, a fun, after-hours event, is a great way to meet up with friends, network with business associates, and enjoy live music from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Admission is $7 for museum members, and $15 for non-members. Join the museum or renew your membership on First Thursday and get in free!
