Showing of Classic Silent Film with Organ Accompaniment

 

The 1922 silent film “Nosferatu” will be shown Friday, October 29, 2004 at 8 pm at the First Congregational Church of Waterbury, 222 W. Main Street.  The film is one of the first versions of Dracula, stars Max Schreck as the vampire, is directed by F.W. Murnau, and was inspired by the novel by Bram Stoker. 

 

It will be accompanied by Shari Lucas on the grand Moller organ at First Church.  There will be a classic film preview before the feature beginning at 7:15 pm.

 

Suggested donation is $3.

 

The film is provided by Funstuff Video/Classic Movie Cinema of Waterburyand is sponsored by the First Congregational Church Board of Music.

 

It is intended for mature audiences.
