ONE-DAY JOB FAIR SCHEDULED AT HOLIDAY INN WATERBURY

Multiple Positions Available at Hotel and CoCo Key Water Resort

Waterbury, CT- Holiday Inn Waterbury is holding a job fair for multiple positions at both the hotel and its adjoining water park, CoCo Key Water Resort. The event will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2009 from noon-8 pm. Holiday Inn Waterbury is located at 3580 East Main Street, Waterbury, Connecticut.

Due to the popularity of birthday party events at CoCo Key Water Resort, party hosts are one of the key areas of emphasis at the job fair. The resort is seeking 15 new party hosts to supplement its existing staff. Other positions, both full and part time, are available at the water park and the hotel, including bartenders, restaurant servers, operations managers, bellmen, room attendants and maintenance. Holiday Inn Waterbury is an EOE/Drug Free workplace.

The resort is seeking to fill 40-50 positions, and is expecting a large turnout due to the challenging economic times. “While many firms are announcing layoffs, we’re pleased to be in a position where we can add jobs to the region,” said Kate Terricciano, Director of Marketing at the resort.
