Attraction to Open Ahead of Schedule
Waterbury, CT- Construction on the newest and most exciting addition to Holiday Inn Waterbury, CoCo Key Water Resort, is ahead of schedule. The adventure-filled 55,000 square-foot indoor water park, a first of its kind in Connecticut, will open to the public on Friday, October 3, 2008, two weeks earlier than originally anticipated. Holiday Inn Waterbury is now taking reservations for CoCo Key Water Resort Family Four Packs, day passes, group events, birthday parties and gift certificates. CoCo Key Water Resort’s décor and atmosphere reflect the tropical appeal of historic Key West. CoCo Key’s three water slides – the Shark Slam, Gator Gush and Barracuda Blast, Coral Reef Cavern activity pool, “dip-in” movie theater, Coconut Grove adventure river, Palm Grotto indoor/outdoor spa, Parrot’s Perch interactive play island, Pizza Hut Express and snack bar, lounge, arcade, private function rooms and birthday party spaces offer families truly unforgettable experiences to be shared together. A six-foot-tall plush version of “CoCo,” the resort’s soon-to-be-famous parrot mascot, will entertain CoCo Key guests, posting for pictures, attending parties and singing “Happy Birthday.” CoCo Key Water Resort will be open daily. With the 4th largest ballroom in Connecticut and 22 meeting rooms, the hotel can accommodate groups from as small as 10, to a seated banquet for 1200 people, or an exhibit with up to 70 booths.
