City Fest 2008
City Fest 2008 is a special benefit concert for the Connecticut Food Bank. They will park their truck at Library Park and area residents are invited  to bring non-perishable food donations to fill it up.
There will be inspirational music all day long with bands performing on the concert shell and on the other end of the park under the big top tent there will be children activities including clowns, puppet shows, face painting, balloon shaping, and we will be giving away 100 free children's bicycles. Free clothing will also be available from Acts 4 Clothing ministry. We will be giving out 2000 free hot dogs, soda, snowcones, popcorn and balloons
It runs from 11am to 6pm on July 25th & July 26th.
On Friday evening at 5pm at a City Fest "kick off" rally, we will be honoring the Waterbury Fire and Police with a citation from  Gov. Rell.
