On October 17th, 2004, Stand by Me, Inc., will be hosting a Celebration of Waterbury & TreeFest to dedicate Waterbury's First Bereavement Tree.  The ceremony will take place at Library Park from 10:00 am –2:00 pm, with the dedication service to take place at 10:30 am.  In addition, the organization is also looking for local vendors/ crafters to participate in the celebration. 

Stand by Me, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (C)3 bereavement agency dedicated to providing no cost, weekly, year round support groups to people in the Greater Waterbury area.  They are staffed by a licensed clinical social worker with certification in Thanatology.
