Mayor Michael J. Jarjura's Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony & Holiday Parade

Mayor Jarjura welcomes all city employees and thier families to Waterbury's annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and holiday parade. Sunday, November 25, 2007.   the Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a parade that begins at the Chase Building and ends at the Waterbury Green.

The tree lighting will take place when the parade reaches the Green. Refreshments, including hot chocolate, and donuts will be served.  Attnedees are asked to bring a donation of canned goods, which will benefit local food kitchens and charities.  A ticket for a free Frankie's Hot Dog willl be given to anyone bringing a donation of canned goods. Employees can also drop off donations in the Mayor's Office, November 23, 2007 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
