The museum transforms into a holiday wonderland with galleries full of elaborately decorated trees, wreaths and displays representing holiday traditions and more. This year’s theme celebrates the image of downtown during the holidays - Main Street USA! Join us for a Holiday Marketplace featuring local antiques and crafts, holiday collections on display, entertainment throughout the week, Lunch with Santa and more!

General Adult Admission: $8.00 Museum Members Admission: $7.00
Children under 12 / Group Rates: $5.00

Festival Gala – Silver Bells in the City
Friday, December 1, 6:30pm – 11:00pm
The Gala event of the year! "Silver Bells in the City" a tribute to the great holiday movie classics of the 1940s & 1950s. Enjoy dancing with the Harold Zinno Band, an Oscar-winning dinner prepared by Bay Leaf Gourmet, a fabulous silent auction, and a fun filled interactive evening with many surprises!!! This will be a sold out event, make your reservations today! Attire: Glamorous Hollywood at the Holidays! $100 members, $110 non-members.

Friday, November 24
Bring an unwrapped toy or game today and receive $1 off admission
Festival Tree Trimming & Bank Street Parade!
Join us for the first day of our Festival with refreshments, tree trimming and more. We’ll have a parade to deliver our special holiday trees for Bank Street businesses starting at 12 noon. Crafters and vendors will be on hand selling their wares.

Saturday, November 25

Lunch with Santa 11:30 am to 12:30pm
A yummy boxed lunch with Santa and Mrs. Claus amidst the amazing holiday displays! See the Webster Bank Train Depot and festive displays! Wandering magician Elac’s Magic will delight all ages, transforming balloons into animals and hats, and magic tricks, too! Stay for a full Magic Show to be presented at 1:00pm.

Lunch and admission for adults is $12, and $10 for children. Includes boxed lunch and admission. Reservations are required.

Sunday, November 26
Today will feature children’s book author Jeff Varney, who will be available all day for book signings and special readings in our Book Nook. We’ll also have a display of Silpada jewelry available for sale.

What is Kwanzaa? with Sounds of Afrika
Learn about this 30 year old Afrikan-American Holiday as Sounds of Afrika performs a pre-Kwanzaa celebration. The celebration will feature Libations, Afrikan dancing and drumming, history of Kwanzaa, explanation of the symbols of Kwanzaa and a interactive lighting of the candles ceremony. Sounds of Afrika has been celebrating Kwanzaa in communities throughout the NY tri-state area for close to 10 years and encourages families to celebrate this holiday.

Jack and the Beanstalk by Nappy’s Puppets
This version of the classic story is based on the Appalachian folktale and presented in four parts. In between, there’s a roller coaster ride of short stories, vignettes and songs from children's literature, traditional puppet theater, and the imagination of the puppeteer. The show features hand-crafted shadow figures and is fast paced, action-packed, and full of laughs.
