Timexpo: The TimexMuseum

The Creative Learning Program takes you through a journey of learning by doing. We will explore the past, present and future of telling time and the tools used, through presentations and activities. Discover the fundamentals of advertising by producing your very own commercial. Continue your adventure through our time tunnel to observe the process of discovery and how ancient civilization traveled the ocean currents? At the end of your journey create your Time Capsule. This four week program is both educational and fun!

The price of admission to the program includes:

1. Tour of the Museum;

2. Craft material provided for activities;

3. Light snack.

Four week program starts Tuesday, August 1st, 2006

Week One:History of time keeping. Create your very own time piece.

Week Two:Lights, Camera, Action! Design your own commercial.

Week Three: The adventures of Thor Heyerdahl and the mysteries of Easter

Island. Create your own Moai Statue.

Week Four: 2154 Exhibit, the Future of Time and Time Capsules.

Admission $20 per session

Tuesday mornings - 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
