Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Puppy Raising Program

What: 4-day Pre-puppy Orientation Series

When: June 6th, June 8th, June 12th, June 15th; 6-8pm on all dates

Where: First Congregational Church, Woodbury CT

Why:

To learn about Guiding Eyes for the Blind's puppy raising program and how you can be a part of it.

Guiding Eyes for the Blind, a non-profit organization committed to providing professionally trained guide dogs to assist in greater mobility and freedom for the blind and visually impaired, is looking for people to volunteer as Puppy Raisers. These valuable volunteers open their hearts and homes to future guide dogs for the first 14-16 months of their lives. Guiding Eyes provides extensive support through local classes and provides all veterinary care FREE of charge. We are developing a region in Central Connecticut and are in need of your help! We are holding a series of 4 pre-puppy orientation classes to explain the ins and outs of what it takes to be a puppy raiser.
