The Waterbury Bureau of Water reports that the break in the 42-inch high service transmission main on Thomaston Avenue near the Thomaston town line has been repaired, and was returned to service on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015. The damaged section of Thomaston Avenue/Waterbury Road has also been repaired and was returned to service on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015.  

The Bureau of Water apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this break and thanks all customers who reduced their water usage during this repair period. With the High Service Transmission Main back in service, no further water use restrictions are necessary.
