12/2/2014 - Spend Time with Family, Friends and Help the Campership Fund at Same Time

Bertucci's restaurant at the Brass Mill Center Mall has an enticing offer to fill your belly and allow you to include giving a local child the gift of summer camp as part of your holiday season.

On December 17th, Bertucci's, with the presentation of a coupon, will donate 15 percent of what you spend at the restaurant to the Campership Fund.  If you haven't tasted Bertucci's brick-oven pizza, you've missed a treat. Should pizza not be your craving in December, you'll find a menu full of other delights: shrimp and lobster risotto, jambalaya fettuccine, filet mignon with Chianti sauce. And the list goes on from appetizers to dessert.

This past summer the Campership Fun had 448 children eligible to attend camp, but only enough funds to send 340. That meant 108 were wait-listed. To get those kids to camp, an additional $47,000 will need to be raised.  One hundred percent of every dollar raised at Bertucci's will go to sending a child to camp, so every dollar you spend on lunch or dinner Dec. 17th matters.

You can order on line ahead of your visit.  In Waterbury, Bertucci’s offers home delivery anywhere in the city. Or, stop by Bertucci's cozy restaurant; it’s right next to Macy's at the east end of the Brass Mill Center.
