In observance of Labor Day, Monday Sept. 1, 2014, the following schedule changes will be in effect for the Bureau of Refuse:

• No trash or recycling collection on Monday. Normal Monday collections will occur on Tuesday and Tuesday collections will occur on Wednesday.
  
  
• The Mark Lane Transfer Facility will be open Saturday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. All vehicles must be on the scale by 11:45 a.m. The Transfer Facility will be closed on Monday.
