Information:

There is no charge to residents.  Proof of residency, such as a driver's license, tax bill, or other identification, is required for entrance.  The event is sponsored by the Council of Governments of Central Naugatuck Valley and participating towns.

Examples of Acceptable Wastes:

Mercury thermometers, drain and oven cleaners, upholstery cleaners, oil or lead-based paint, wood cleaners, strippers and varnishes, insecticides, poisons, pool and photo chemicals, automotive cleaners and fluids, grease and rust solvents, aerosols, and metal polishes.

Examples of Unacceptable Wastes:

Latex paint, auto batteries, motor oil, propane tanks, compressed gas cylinders, asbestos, explosives, radioactive or medical waste, and empty containers of any kind.  The contractor reserves the right to reject additional materials.
