The City of Waterbury welcomes our newest city firefighters to the ranks of the Waterbury Fire Department. After completing an intense and in-depth 12 week Recruit Firefighter Training Program, 19 new Waterbury Firefighters were officially sworn-in on October 8, 2013, at Kennedy High School. The Fire Department also promoted Sean Barry to lieutenant and Jason Emery to captain. We wish them safety and success in their public safety career.
