9/20/2013 - East Main Street in Waterbury To Be Closed for Rehabilitation of Bridge Over Beaver Brook



The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a weekend road closure is scheduled to begin on Friday, October 19, 2013 starting at 8 p.m. and end on Monday, October 21at 6 a.m. for the rehabilitation of the Bridge that carries Route 801, East Main Street, over Beaver Brook in the City of Waterbury. 

The full closure is one of three weekend road closures scheduled to complete work necessary for the replacement of the precast concrete box culvert on East Main Street at Beaver Brook located between Midland Road and Meriline Road.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.

DETOUR INFO
East Main Street will be closed to thru traffic between Scott Road and Pierpont Road. All traffic will be detoured using Interstate 84 Exit 25, Scott Road and Exit 25A, Austin Road.

LANE CLOSURE INFO
Alternating one way traffic Monday–Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and some night work from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
