The Waterbury Senior Center is a city-run building for all seniors ages 60 and over, completely dedicated to our senior population. This will be Waterbury’s first senior center for all seniors in the community. It will have all of the comforts of home with access to services and information at your fingertips. The center is home to BRASS, and will also have programs of its own. There is a room for programs such as Wii bowling, and Tai Chi. We have a health room specifically for wellness related programs, such as flu clinics, mobile podiatry, dentistry and so much more. A computer lab will facilitate classes to instruct on how to use the latest gadgets, Facebook, e-mail and Skype. There is also a room with card tables and a pool table.

A city-wide project, BRASS is a collaborative effort of the City of Waterbury, Pathway Services for Seniors Initiative at the Connecticut Community Foundation (funded by the East Hill Woods Fund), New Opportunities, Inc., and the Western Connecticut Area Agency on Aging (WCAAA).
