Brass City Charter School, Waterbury’s only charter school, will be opening its doors to the children of Waterbury in September of 2013.

Brass City Charter School will open with three grades, Pre-K for 4 year olds, kindergarten, and first grade, then add a grade for every year until it is a full Pre-K through grade 8 school.

To enroll in Pre-K, Grade K, or Grade 1, you must be a resident of the city of Waterbury. Pre-K applicants must be 4 years old on or before January 1, 2014 and Kindergarten applicants must be 5 on or before January 1, 2014.

Application deadline is July 1. All applicants must attend an Open House the week of June 24 (exact date to be determined). BCCS is also seeking Connecticut certified teachers for the 2013-2014 school year.
