Over a 5-week period, 22 Waterbury residents completed a Small Business Entrepreneurial Program hosted by the CT Small Business Administration and the Office of the Mayor. The group learned the necessary steps for starting, maintaining, and growing a small business. The collaborative effort between the SBA, City of Waterbury and other partners offered the group information on the financial resources available, provided business advice and technical assistance, affording an advantage necessary to help them compete effectively in the marketplace.
