4/26/2013 - Community Members Asked To "Answer The Call" For Community Health Improvement

If you're a resident of Greater Waterbury, your household may be called to help
improve the health of the community by participating in a community health needs
assessment by the Greater Waterbury Health Improvement Partnership (GWHIP).

Randomly selected households will be called on their home or cell phone number to
participate.  Questions are designed to determine areas of opportunity for health
improvement within the Greater Waterbury area compared to communities state
and nationwide.  The 10-minute survey is completely anonymous and confidential.

GWHIP consists of representatives from the Waterbury Department of Public Health,
the Connecticut Community Foundation, Saint Mary's Hospital, United Way of Greater
Waterbury, Northwestern CT Area Health Education Council (AHEC), StayWell Health
Center, Harold Leever Cancer Center, and Brass City Harvest.
