On Friday, May 31, 2013 the Rivera Memorial Foundation, Inc.
will be hosting its 13th Annual Scholarship Banquet at the
Coco Key Water Resort Hotel & Convention Center,
Waterbury, CT. at 6:00 p.m.  Eight figures who exemplify the very
best in dedicated services to our community will be honored.
Their drive to better the lives of so many children and families
is an inspiration to all of the people of Waterbury and is a
testament to their strength, determination and commitment.

Community Service Award
Mrs. Kathy Craig, District Director of Region IV Connecticut
Exchange Club, avid volunteer for organizations such as PAL,
East Mountain Athletic Association, DaFam, CT Heat, and
Sacred Heart High School.

Outstanding Leadership Awards
Mrs. Luanelly Iglesias, a math teacher in the LEP Program at
North End Middle School and President of Madre Latina.

Mrs. Joyce Petteway, former member of the Waterbury Board
of Education and Aldermen, current member of The National
Congress of Black Woman, an employee of the State of CT
Office of the Treasurer.

Wilfred Rosado, CEO of the Lil Freddy Memorial Inc.

Susan Pronovost, Executive Director of Brass City Harvest

Rick Povilaitis, Head of Homeless Outreach Arm of Brass City Harvest
