Waterbury Reservoirs Total Usable Capacity as of January 26, 2017 is at 69.0% or 258 days of supply.
Water Restrictions to be Lifted
All water restrictions will be lifted on January 30, 2017 as a result of the above average precipitation that we have received over the course of the last three months. We thank everyone for their efforts in helping us conserve our most precious natural resource “water” during the extended drought period.
The Water Department provides the highest quality of potable water, water with sufficient pressure and volume for fire protection throughout the City, and excellent service to its customers.
Waterbury Water Department adheres to the Safe Drinking Water Act as it relates to Lead by providing a protected raw water source of supply, treating the water with corrosion protection treatment at the Water Treatment Plant. We also sample fifty (50) representative sample points in the Distribution System for Lead and Copper, and have always met the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act for both Lead and Copper.
