The summer season has begun and we’re all preparing for more time outdoors.  As part of Skin Cancer awareness month, Anthem wants to remind you to protect yourself and your family from exposure to UVA and UVB rays.

The summer months are also a great time to increase physical activity or begin an exercise program.  The attached overview can help you begin thinking about other ways you can work exercise into your life this season.

Also, it’s always nice to know that someone’s looking out for you… especially when it comes to your health and opportunities for you to save money.

That’s why there’s MyHealth Advantage – a 360° Health program from Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield that connects you and covered family members to important information that may directly affect your health. MyHealth Advantage is included in your health care coverage.

If MyHealth Advantage discovers such an opportunity for you, be on the lookout for a MyHealth Note in the mail. It’s a personalized notice that helps keep you informed about the health issues that are specific to you. Is it time to see your doctor for a recommended test or exam? A MyHealth Note can let you know. MyHealth Notes include information about health recommendations and potential pharmacy savings, and feature a summary of your recent claims information to keep for your records and share with your treatment providers. And if you have questions about the information in a MyHealth Note, a registered nurse is available to help.
