The annual flushing and testing of fire hydrants in Waterbury will begin on April 21st and continue for approximately 10 weeks. As a result of the flushing and testing operation, the water may become discolored for short periods of time. Although the water may temporarily have a “rusty” appearance, it is safe to use.
